Visuals to remember

Strategic plans, your school’s Mission & Vision, Year-in-review, Reflections- all of these are crucial parts of a well-functioning School or business. But how often do you sit and look at those documents and make it your “Why” for the day?

By putting important information into visuals (think bold headings, key words, icons to connect to meaning, pictures and colours), people are far more likely to remember the information and make the effort to work towards it each day.

use visuals to communicate concepts and expectations.

By leaving staff or students with a one-page summary of the most important information, they have a meaningful exit-ticket and something they can refer to for future learning or planning, or even use to decorate the classroom or office.
