notes that speak, learning that sticks

Ever use those hand outs filled with heaps of brilliant ideas and strategies after a day(s) filled with PD? Yeah…me neither.

Your people need to be able to SEE IT in pictures before they can think and UNDERSTAND IT.

Hi there!

I’m Meg, I am a primary school international teacher and visual thinker based in New Zealand. I love doodling and scribbling as a way to process information and share learning.

It has been said that 80% of what people learn is visual.”- Allen Klein

Sketch noting is visual note taking, also known as graphic recording. While people are talking and presenting, I’m drawing and scribbling away- while you watch! This type of note-taking captures your ideas and processes throughout the event and puts them all into a brilliantly bright, colourful and engaging set of illustrations for your people to remember you by.

Having illustrated visions and missions or strategic plans are a great way to get people to remember what the main idea is behind all the work they’re doing.

after all, we’re far more likely to remember a cool picture than a stack of notes handed out to us at the end of the day.

thank you for supporting a maker, creator and a big dream.
